A shopping
cart software system for small and medium sized companies from Kabotie Software
Technologies (KSOFTTECH). RelyCart™ is a shopping cart software system based
on the popular ShopPlus Cart™ software from HostPro.
RelyCart™ is based on the ShopPlus Cart software specification. The same tags
are supported, and the mechanisms for building a shopping cart system are the
same. However, RelyCart has some distinct advantages over ShopPlus. RelyCart
fixes some of the well-known security problems that ShopPlus Cart has. In
addition, RelyCart will have a database backend for managing products, options,
prices, discounts, sales tax, and shipping. RelyCart will also have capability
to track referrals from other websites, calculate commissions, provide discounts
on products for specific customers, and allow merchants to offer special
promotion codes for discount pricing and track their usage.
RelyCart is an alternative to ShopPlus Cart, a shopping cart system formerly
offered by one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the country -
HostPro. HostPro has since merged with Interland and no longer supports ShopPlus
Cart, leaving thousands of customers scrambling to find a new solution that
doesn't require a major reinvestment in new shopping cart technology.
RelyCart™ may be licensed by ISPs who want to offer a shopping cart solution
for their customers, and by standalone webhosting customers who need a shopping
cart solution on their website. There are investment opportunities to purchase
equity shares in the product, and to market the product as a reseller, ISP, or
referral marketer.
