Thanks for the e-mail regarding the
estimated time of arrival on my computer. However, I regret to inform you
that my computer will not arrive the first week of January. It
arrived last Thursday! I knew that I had ordered too late to
receive it before Christmas, but I never expected to get it this quick. Great
job.
P.S. Sorry about taking so long to return the
e-mail. I had to rush and buy a new
computer desk earlier than expected. I just wish the desk would have been
as

Computer is here! Speakers come tomorrow.
Just finished setup & critical updates downloads, setting up connection
& learning my way around WinXp for the basics.
Now for the good news... After I ordered the system I
knew pretty much every piece of hardware I was getting due to there excellent
disclosure as you configure the system however, a few questions were still
floating around in my brain. Like what brand of RDRAM? What Geforce 3 TI 500 manufacturer?
What make of CPU fan? Although the case has 4 fan mount locations how many am
I getting? These are things that a builder can save money on. Well here was
the answer of those remaining nagging question's onng the box:
Kingston RDRAM (best memory manufacturer. in the
business & most expensive).
Volcano P4 CPU heat sink/fan (best one short of
refrigeration)
Hercules 3D Prophet Geforce3 Ti 500 (best maker of the
geforce3(board design, fans & tweaked chips).
Not 1 Not 2 but 4 Case fans installed !
I also found these extras which were not ordered &
they could have skipped:
2 USB port slot connector (this is the extra 2 USB ports
available by cable from the MB in addition to the 2 that have connectors on
back of case).
Joystick Audigy PCI Card (this is an optional card that
does not come with the Audigy X-Gamer (normally pay extra for it).
Extra Software CD's that I wasn't expecting (All the
CD's that come with the retail version of all the hardware they included.
This is very often skipped by many PC builders because they get a price break
from the manufacturer. for a wholesale version stripped of extra application
& game software bundles.
In Conclusion:
I got to say WOW for a company who is already giving u bottom dollar on top
equipment to give u the top extras & quality when they could have saved
$$$...This company knows it's stuff ! Extraordinary in today's market!!!

I don't remember the last time I wrote a letter like this, but all of you at
ABS deserve kudos! I'm a very picky, methodical, type of shopper.
I knew what I wanted and scoured the internet. In the past I've always
brought home a computer from a store; this time I was determined to get what
I really wanted. I have to say that my ABS Performance arrived yesterday, I
hooked it up, and it SCREAMS!!! I couldn't find anyone that could offer
all the components that I wanted at the price you had. With an AMD
1900+, 512 megs DDR and a GE 3 ti 500 I'm the envy of the neighborhood.
From start to
finish, the entire relationship with ABS was flawless. The order
process was smooth, I got exactly what I ordered, it was delivered on the
exact day promised and at least $1500 less than a comparable Dell or
Alienware. Not many things/companies work like that anymore. Like I said, I'm
a tough shopper and without reservation, I'd recommend an
ABS computer to anyone in the market!!!

I have had my ABS computer for about 2 months now and am pleased to say that
I feel it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I found that
the performance is exactly what I was expecting for my purchase. I also
am very happy with the Corel software that was bundled along with the system.
I find it is easy to use and has many options that keep me from having to
look to something else. Easy hook up as well as an excellent job on the
routing of the wires and placement of hardware on the inside make for easy
upgrades in the future and has proved that ABS is a winner in my book.
Last but not least I must commend the service. It was a very
speedy order over the net with a very timely return call to confirm my
purchase, all topped off by excellent shipping. No other competitor
would have offered as much.

Great Service Maria
I just received my second ABS computer yesterday. I was extremely happy
with the performance of the Athlon 1800 XP along with Windows XP Pro. I
was surprised at how quite the Athlon 1800 operated. Creative
Inspire speaker’s rock. Hitachi 19" monitor was crisp and clear.
I also liked the binder that held all the software nice and neat. Thanks
once again for high quality components and service. I have been
recommending ABS ever since I bought my first ABS computer around 4 years ago
and I will keep on recommending them. Talk to you in about 3 to 4 more
years when its time for me to upgrade to the latest and greatest pc
available. By the way, my first ABS computer is still running and after
4 years, I have never had the first problem with it.

Hi Maria,
I just wanted to thank you and compliment you on your friendly and
professional attitude even under the pressure of dealing with phones ringing
off the hook. I am very pleased with " Hercules Prophet Special " I
purchased. It has blazing speed and excellent graphics and is filled with
quality parts, even the standard ABS keyboard has a nice feel to it. I was
surprised to get such an expensive software program like "word perfect
" with
the system for free. I love your web site and the way you can choose so many
different configurations. Many of the major companies don't even let you
choose what brand of processor you want, let alone tell you what brand the
other parts in the computer are. These options and the excellent price point
along with your companies reputation of building quality computers were some
of my reasons for buying from you. A computer comparable to the configuration
i purchased would have cost $400 more at one of the most well known computer
companies and i still wouldn't know who made the other parts inside of it. I
also appreciate the little details like the binder with the software and
manuals tucked neatly inside.

And to anyone else out there with second thoughts! I want to thank you once
again for this great Athlon Performance PC! This is by far the best
computer I have ever bought. I love the fact that on your site, you
make it
easy, for the customer to basically have a choice for almost each and every
component! Unlike other companies, where you have a few minor choices,
and
are stuck with getting what ever they give you. The choice of getting what I
wanted with each component, was a huge factor in choosing your company.
The
other reason, was your quality of brand name components, and offered a very
reasonably affordable price, much lower then the leading Gateway and
Dell, which in time, I believe with fall behind ABS!
My computer is running fantastic! Although, I have to admit, I did have
a
couple very minor problems when I got it, but with quick help from Maria,
she bent over backwards along with the Tech Support guy Victor who quickly
solved it's problems, which just ended up being setting problems.
I have
the full tower case, and love the easy slide out panel access, and also, the
slide out feet for the added balance feature! I will say, it's not as
silent as my previous computer, but with the low cost of a max out
computer with quality hardware, I can't complain!
I have been telling all my friends and people I work with about your
computers! And I would quickly recommend ABS as a first choice to
anyone
who is considering buying a computer! If you have any questions about
ABS,
Maria, is someone who is very honest with you and there to answer your
questions. She, in my opinion, is the reason why ABS does so well! She
really goes out of her way, to make the customer happy!

Hello ABS staff!
First let me begin by saying that the customer service that I received
from Maria was outstanding!
Secondly, I am a senior computer technician for a very large company. So I
know the difference between a "poorly" built computer and a
"quality" built computer. My system performed as well as ABS had
advertised/promised. I can proudly say that my hard earned money was well
spent on the "Performance PC: AMD Athlon system."
My only complaint is that ABS is not more widely known to the general
public. Hopefully sometime in the near future the ABS name will be as well
known as Dell, Gateway, and Compaq. In the meantime I am doing my part and
referring my friends to your computer products.

Hi Maria, well I have had my Athlon computer a little over a week now and it
performs flawlessly. Not that I'm surprised by this as I did do my research
and the fact that ABS uses top name brand components really made this
purchase a "no brainer". I will be sure to recommend your computers
to all
my friends and associates as I can honestly do so with a clear conscience
knowing they will be getting a quality product at a reasonable price.
To those of you out there that have read the reviews in Computer Shopper and
were concerned (as I was) about the fan noise being an issue, relax it is no

First* I just need to thank ABS Computers and Kabotie Services for all you
help and guidance. Beginning with my fast running computer, the system is a
#1 high tech machine with plenty of power and quality parts. I was able to
purchase the AMD Special System for $999. I will tell you that no one can
compare or come close to your machine. Second* Kabotie help me launch my new
domain name and I have my website up and running in one week! My site is
still under construction but now I will have plenty of time to fine tune it.
Thanks again for the professionalism of your staff and quality service. I highly

I want
to share with you again, as I did on the phone today, how impressed I am with
the ABS Computer web site, the entire ordering process and with you!
I've been an IT professional in corp. and field management as well as the
technical side for a number of years with companies like Raytheon, BBN Computers,
and now with Sun Microsystems for 10 years. As part of my earlier
duties with Sun, I managed the worldwide laptop computing team and
strategies. I recognize in ABS Computer the key ingredients of major
players. In fact, it reminded me of the early days of Dell Computer
when I was one of their early Customers about 14 years ago. I just
wanted to share this with you, and just simply state my sincere impressions,
of what certainly looks like a very fine company. I am extremely
pleased I made the decision to go with ABS Computer for the purchase of this
fine system.

I just purchased a ABS Computer and I really enjoy it. I told my
friend how
much computer they can get for the price. A comparable computer
from Dell
or Gateway will cost several hundred dollars more and I know the name
brand
components installed in my system are good quality. I work with
computers
in the IT department of a national manufacturing company so I know this
is a
good value. Maria was my sales contact and she made sure I
received just
what I ordered.

Maria, Once again ABS has done a great job giving us the product we want.
We
purchased an ABS computer a few years back and We have not had a problem
with it. I have friends who purchased name brand computers and all they
could do was to complain about numerous problems. I purchased a C------
computer for my children because I wanted something right away and we have
not had one moments rest since it's purchase. I decided, I would never
buy
a "Brand name" computer again. I love your companies service.
Nothing

I had disciplined myself to clean up my office
and get rid of a couple of older computers before really starting to
configure my new ABS. I just wanted to tell you, before I am able to test
everything, that the initial setup and configuration and testing have gone
extremely well, and I am very pleased with the computer. There may yet be a
problem or two (possibly with video in, or CD-ROM burning, neither of which I
have tested, and so this is not the final word, but almost. Do you want a
testimonial if I am this happy in a month. If you look at the current Al
Stevens column in Dr. Dobbs' Journal, you will see that he bought a Compaq, a
Gateway, and an HP, none of which worked right, and two of which were DOA. It
looks like I went to the right place. Best wishes,

Let me just say that I am IMPRESSED with the
system I received. It arrived after 9 days, instead of 2 weeks. It came with
everything I ordered, and all working. All I had to do was set it up, and
turn it on. Of course, it took me the better part of 2 days to get all my
software transferred to it. :) I have already recommended your company to
several people, and these are the reasons why:
1. Your assistance. From the moment I sent
that first email, to the time it arrived, you were nothing but courteous and
responsive. You promptly answered all my questions dealing with my special
requirements, and even phoned me when I placed the order, to ensure
everything was done properly. Even got a phone call when you found out there
was a problem with the 900mhz processors, with a suggestion on upgrading to
receive the unit on time. This is what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE! Hopefully
I'll never need it, but I hope your Technical Support folks are as good as
you. THANK YOU!
2. The manual I received is just outstanding. Definitely
MUCH more than I ever got with a pre-packaged system.
3. I even found the invoice with all the
components listed, INCLUDING the part/model numbers. This is of GREAT help
when it comes to upgrading drivers and software. Once again, thank you SO
much. Feel free to share this email with anyone you like, as I feel YOU
deserve the praise!

Greetings, As someone who upgrades computers
on a yearly basis, I've been around the block with all of the major players.
I have never had such a pleasure dealing with any company as I have had with
my first (and certainly not last) purchase from ABS. Your online system
configuration and order process was so easy that it almost worried me. Your
prices were so low compared to like computers from other vendors that I was
concerned as to what I would actually receive. "What's the catch?"
That's what I was wondering. Your customer service rep put me totally at ease
when she confirmed my order the next day and specified an anticipated ship
date. When the system arrived - almost a week early - I was still thinking
that this whole transaction was just too good to be true. The shipment was
packed with perfection and serious attention to detail. (Your 3-ring binder
for system documentation was a great touch of professionalism and
presentation.) And the system was up and humming within an hour of me
breakingthe cartons. All of this leaves me wondering why ABS isn't a
household name. It most certainly should be. I will recommend your company
and your systems to anyone that will listen. Having been in advertising and
marketing for over 25 years, I'm "almost" prepared to do some pro
bono work on behalf of ABS. It would be a disservice to anyone looking for
high quality workmanship, truly professional service, and a great product at
an unbeatable price point not to! I have only one suggestion: Please make it
easier for computer buyers at all levels of experience to find your wonderful
organization!
